Residential Decks
Make Your Backyard Vision a Reality
Residential decks and pergolas make up 80% of our projects. We help homeowners make their backyard visions into reality. We build big decks, small decks, pool decks, shade structures, yoga decks, pet friendly decks and decks that stay cool for little bare feet.
Our project developers are committed to the project from start to finish. Our crews work with the project developer to make sure our customers are fully aware of every step along the way. Our job isn’t done until our clients are happy.
Our Process
On-Site Appointment
When we receive an inquiry, we will email or call to talk about your space and what you want to do with it. If the project sounds like one that fits our strengths, we’ll set up an on-site appointment to discuss specific details, get measurements, and show samples of decking material that you may like to touch and see.
Proposal
We will then work on a design, pricing, and timeline. After we present it to you, usually via email, we’ll take your feedback and work that into the design. When we have a winner, we’ll provide final pricing and await your decision.
Preparation
Once you are ready for our team to build your project, we’ll work on scheduling, material orders, permitting if necessary, and set your expectations for when to expect us.
Build
On the day the project starts, your project developer will arrive with one of our crews and a material delivery. The project developer visits the project regularly and is in constant communication with the crew leader.
Enjoy
Upon completion, we’ll clean up our construction debris and make sure you’re fully satisfied with the finished product and your experience with our company.

FAQs
-
This question frequently comes up. This is like asking, “How much is a pair of jeans?”. There are many factors that have to be taken into account. Do you need a permit? Is there an elevation change in your yard? Are you in WUI? Do you need stairs? Do you need a railing? What type of railing? Etc, etc. There are many more variables in a deck project than people anticipate.

The Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) is an area designated by Austin to be close enough to a greenbelt in which fire-rated materials are required. We have extensive experience building in WUI areas. We can help our clients navigate using approved materials for their outdoor projects.

We are normally out on job sites or visiting with clients. Sometimes it can take us a day or two to reach back out to you. We appreciate your patience!
